The Forum has been very busy this year hosting the Market every Saturday from May to October, and they have been a great success. One of our new stallholders this summer was Goggi’s, selling Asian food, which proved to be very popular, as did the wonderful quiches and bread. We will be back in December for seasonal fun at the fabulous Christmas markets.
AGM 2016. The Ferryside Village Forum are holding their AGM on Tuesday , 11th October 2016. The meeting will be held at The White Lion meeting room at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please come along if you would like to become a member of the Forum, or a volunteer on projects, like gardening days or other exciting events. Once again this year, the Forum will be hosting numerous activities, such as walks , beach litter picks, fund raising dinners and much more. So, if you would like to join in the fun, come along to the AGM.
There is a vacancy for a cooked food stall holder at future markets. If you would like to run a stall selling hot food, such as burgers, sausages etc, then ring Lucy on 01267 267147
The Forum has also been a busy bee, converting the grounds of Calon y Fferi to a lovely place to sit and enjoy. With lots of hard work and help from students from Sir Gar, the gardens, wild flowers and raised beds are looking lovely.
