Christmas market New Stalls

Mandy Henderson will be selling her range of attractive and very reasonably priced pure soaps on the 5th,12th and 19th of December.

Market: Apologies for lack of vegetables last week. Good news – lots of super fresh vegetables this week

Market this Saturday 5th September Market 10.am until 1pm

Lots of super fresh organic vegetables, including sweet corn and aubergines,  have just been delivered this week

Look out for fresh organic eggs, a good range of small artisan cheeses, local bacon, burgers and meat, and Dave’s Jams and chutneys.

On the craft stalls you will find cushions candles cards jewellery stained glass and much more.

We hope to see you there. The last summer market will be on the 25th September.

Ferryside Village Forum Market will be indoors on Saturday the 22nd of August

The market will be held in the main/sports hall this week as the forecast is for very bad weather.

We have a new stall- Mary’s Rare plants with hostas and hydrangeas amongst them.

Lucy will be selling Caws Cenarth cheese and offering tasters as well as Olive oil and flans and organic vegetables from Banc Organics.

Coffee and delicious home made cakes will be in the hall along with Craft stalls, jams and chutneys, chocolate truffles, bacon rolls and home made burgers.

Dave will be selling the crepes this week.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, out of the rain, in the sports hall at the former education centre Ferryside where there is plenty of parking available.

Ferryside Christmas Market

Come along every Saturday for the next three weeks and get your food and presents at the Special Christmas market.” As well as the usual favourites there will be Sue’ s wonderful chocolates, Cath’s Gluten Free baking, Cards and Calendars, Soaps and Candles, jewelery, glass decorations and much much more.

This year we have indoor stalls in the main/sports hall and outdoor stalls at the former Ferryside Education Centre.

The Crwbin Silver band will play on the 6th December,and the school choir will sing carols on the 13th. This Saturday will the Poems and Pints band will be with us.

Come for chestnuts, fresh local winter vegetables, great Christmas trees and enjoy the Christmas cheer with Sheila’s  mince pies and good coffee.

£300 grant from Ferryside Village Forum for sustainability or community well being projects.

Residents of St Ishmaels are invited to apply for a small individual grant to support a project or idea they have: Our only condition is that your idea must be clearly linked to either promoting community sustainability or something that will be of obvious benefit to the whole community. The grant is for individuals not for formal groups, charities or organisations

Tell us briefly what you want to do and how you will use the grant to help you achieve your idea. We hope to distribute up to £300 every six months, starting this autumn. Your letter or email should reach us by the last day in October and we will inform you if you are successful by the end of the second week in November.

You should be sure to include your name, address and contact details (telephone and email address).

The trustees of the Ferryside Village Forum will discuss and decide how the £300 is to be distributed – The decision of the trustees is final.
