Ferryside Village Forum are holding three Food and Craft markets this Christmas. We will have a great range of food and local craft on sale which we will be telling you more about over the next few weeks. We are also celebrating the award of a grant to further develop the market project and innovative keyhole garden scheme. Financial assistance has come from Natural Resources Wales and Carmarthenshire Environment Partnership.
The Christmas Market, key hole garden and new café and marquee will be officially opened by Jonathan Edwards the MP for Carmarthen East and Dinefwr at about 10.00 on Saturday the 30th November. Further markets on the 7th and 14th December.
“HEDD WYN” -the film
The Oscar nominated Welsh Film, Hedd Wyn, prizewinnwer in the Celtic Film Festival and winner of 6 BAFTA awards is to be shown with excellent English Subtitles in Ferryside Village Hall at 7:30pm on Friday November 8th. Entry is free but there will be a collection in aid of the 2014 National Eisteddfod which is being held in Llanelli.
