Community Herb Garden

 Community Herb Garden
The first herbs are in!!  With the sun shining today, it seemed a perfect opportunity to plant the first of the herbs into the community herb garden in the Forum’s market area.
All we have so far are 2 bay trees and some wild garlic, so please bring  your herby donations to the market area and plant them, or give me a call and I can collect.  Many thanks in anticipation.   Lynn Shallcross  01267 267631

Ferryside Village Forum market and other things

The Ferryside Village Forum Market will go ahead as usual this Saturday between 10 o’clock and 1 o’clock. The usual favourites, vegetables, pastries and craft work plus Sarah who is baking up a storm with her exotic savoury pastries and Dave “Jam” is back with an extended range of Jams and chutneys. Fresh chicken and duck eggs from John and Jill, Llansaint. Cafe open for Columbian  coffee, tea and slices of cake.

We are determined to make the market and the development of the Education centre and Sport Hall a roaring success despite the attention of some miserable thieves who stole metal from the centre and caused water damage. Time for that Dunkirk Spirit!

Wendy has asked me to tell you about a recent survey carried out by The Wales We Want   National Conversation. They say “The biggest issues facing future generations in Wales are climate change, the natural environment, jobs and skills, according to the survey.
