Ferryside Village Forum Spring Walk – 2015
Sunday the 19th April
THE WALK
Climb out of Ferryside and up Tregonning Hill with superb views across the estuary mouth.Rejoin the coast road above St Ishmael church and then cross the railway line onto the beach and back to Ferryside. A lovely scenic walk of moderate difficulty.

Meet in the car park in front of the Ferryside Cafe and White Lion Inn at 1.30. The walk is about 4 miles long and is moderately difficult because of the steep steps at the start, muddy fields and the negotiation of a rock strewn beach. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Join Ferryside Village Forum and Keep Wales Tidy in The Big Clear Up of litter and plastic waste on Ferryside Beach after the recent very high Spring Tides
Meet outside the Ferryside Yacht club at 12 o’clock. Children welcome.

On Sunday the 19th October start at 2 pm finish by about 4.30.
Assemble close to Ystrad Bridge, Ferryside. Walk across the fields to Iscoed farm on footpath 62/4. Back toward Iscoed mansion and then on footpath 62/6 toward Nantygoitre-Isaf to check access.
Return back along same path past Iscoed mansion to Ystrad Bridge detouring via Iscoed cottage for a conducted tour of the old gardens.
